The full trailer for Nobuaki Izaki's film adaptation of David Gordon's 2010 mystery novel The Serialist has been released .
The film stars Takaya Kamikawa a second-rate novelist named Ippei Akaba who's now relegated to writing serialized erotic stories for a living. However, his luck seems to change when he's contacted by a notorious serial killer on death row named Daigo Kurei (Shinji Takeda) who offers his story in exchange for some personalized erotic fiction involving his female devotees.
"The Serialist" will be released by Toei in Japan on June 15, 2013.
