Muhyiddin: Anwar must provide evidence he has support of Dewan Rakyat to be PM

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim must show that he has majority support from Members of Parliament (MPs), says Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.
The Perikatan Nasional chairman said that at a press conference on Thursday (Nov 24), adding that Anwar can show that he has enough support through statutory declarations (SDs).
Asked if he would table a motion of no confidence against Anwar when Parliament convenes, Muhyiddin said that he would allow Anwar to show the necessary evidence first.
