Prince Edward and President see UK-SA science collaboration
  • last year
The Earl of Wessex and the President of South Africa have visited the Francis Crick Institute in London to learn about the biology behind health and disease. The Institute collaborates on projects with the University of KwaZulu-Natal, and Prince Edward and President Cyril Ramaphosa viewed technology used across Africa to diagnose infections. During the visit, government ministers from the UK and South Africa signed an agreement to deepen the collaboration between both countries on earth observation and biosecurity. Report by Jonesia.
