Organ donation groups say the number of transplants has dropped significantly as a result of the pandemic and growing pressures on hospitals. Now advocacy group 'Transplant Australia' is urging state and territory governments to revert to an old system of allowing people to opt-in to organ donation when they receive a driver's licence to increase awareness.
