Iran goalkeeper Alireza Beiranvand suffered a head injury after clashing with a team-mate during the first-half of his nation’s game against England.
Despite being seen by medical staff, he played on but went down on the turf shortly after and had to be replaced by backup goalkeeper Hossein Hosseini.

The 30-year-old eventually was surprisingly allowed to continue with blood seeping from his nose but clearly was in no condition to take any further part in the game.
