Stars from across the Chinese-speaking world came out for the 59th Golden Horse Awards in Taipei on Saturday. Top prize on the night went to Taiwanese film “Coo-Coo 043,” and history was made by Indigenous Atayal director Laha Mebow. She became the first Taiwanese woman to win best director.
