Changes in skin During Pregnancy

Pregnancy is a beautiful period in any woman’s life.
Their body, skin, and hair change with the change of hormones.
However, not all pregnancies are the same and there are some experiences that you must know about!
Some women face skin situations that they might not like.
The good news is the issues are temporary and
well, there is no bad news when you are bringing a baby into the world!
Stretch Marks
These appear mainly on the belly, breasts, hips, and thighs.
Due to the skin stretching. One should moisturize their skin regularly. The spots fade after the baby.
But pregnant mothers can keep the body moisturized and avoid scratching!
Melasma
It is called the pregnancy mask.
The heightened hormones can impact melanin production and thus give you those dark spots!
All you can do with Melasma is
Take all your vitamins
Use SPF/ sunblock regularly
Consume vitamin C
And wait for the baby to come!
Once hormones settle your melasma will be gone
Linea Nigra
The line from your belly button to your pubic bone may begin to form or darken.
It looks like a streak of dark hair for many.
However, this is also hormones at play and it reverts to the original color post delivery.
Dry skin
Yes the worst of all, all you want to do is scratch!
All you gotta do is not scratch and moisturize!
Body lotions and body oils are your best friends!
These nine months are a beautiful period and they must be enjoyed!
Just remember to be happy, active, and mindful of your diet!
