Kick off the Regenerative Agriculture Project!
The enthusiasm shown by the youth of Mertak village is indeed one of the reasons why we are even more motivated to help and support the development of hydroponic farmer groups in the village. To be able to run this project, we are partnering up with Gugah Nurani Indonesia (GNI). Not only for hydroponic farming, but we will also introduce several regenerative farming methods that are more environmentally friendly in Mertak. This is so that the beneficiaries of this program can be increased and benefit more farmers. Our target is those who are teenagers, as well as young adults, so that the income they get after Covid-19 can be more stable and sustainable. We started with mapping the area for the construction of a regenerative agriculture learning center on the land of Rusdi, one of the members who is a proud community leader in Mertak.
