With that in mind, esports writer Stuchiu has put together a list of his top players of the year, breaking down who stood out the most in each role.
The criteria for the decisions includes the players’ consistency, the opposition they faced throughout the year, and any mitigating circumstances. For instance, since this is an individual role ranking, things like having better teammates or a better team can count against players, as achieving the same level of performance under more adverse conditions is more impressive. Only LAN results were taken into account.
