Hubble sees 'evolving' supernova 3 times in same image thanks to gravitational lensing

The gravity of galaxy cluster Abell 370 brought the light from an early Universe supernova into focus in a new Hubble Space Telescope image. The explosion can be seen "over different time periods," due to the gravitational lensing.
