Micro-blogging platform Twitter, newly acquired by Elon Musk, started labelling top Indian government handles and Indian media as "official" ahead of the roll-out of blue tick subscriptions across India. In the Twitter handles of various Indian government organizations, the "official" label was noticed. However, Twitter has rolled back the feature as it just went on to create more confusion than clarity. Elon Musk, the new Twitter chief also tweeted about it after the feature was rolled back.
