Here is Part 01 of the ‘Linear Independence Basics’ series!

In this video, I repeat an ostinato of 16th-note single strokes with my feet (leading with the right foot), and I combine that with six patterns that I play with my hands, for two bars of 4/4 each.

The six patterns are:
Single Strokes
Reversed Single Strokes
Double Strokes
Inverted Double Strokes
Reversed Double Strokes
Reversed Inverted Double Strokes

The entire series was filmed, recorded, and mixed at Southampton Solent University.
