Sir Gavin Williamson has been accused of issuing an inappropriate threat to an MP in financial trouble by Anne Milton, who used to work with him when he was chief whip. Ms Milton, who was deputy chief whip between 2015 and 2017, alleges Sir Gavin told her to present a cheque to a financially struggling MP saying, “make sure…he knows I now own him”.
