You may have seen The Store is Closed in recent weeks.
This is a survival game planned for 2024 and taking place in what looks very much like an Ikea store. If you have already spent several hours in one of these labyrinths of furniture, this bias may have made you smile. However, this was not to the liking of the Swedish brand. Indeed, Ikea sent a formal notice to Jacob Show, the creator of the game, so that he completely reviews his copy. As reported by Kotaku , which had access to the document, it has ten days to remove any reference to the furniture giant .
Although the trailer released for the Kickstarter launch shows the facade of a building adorned with yellow letters on a blue background, Show denies any resemblance. If the press has widely taken up the comparison, he denies having himself communicated on it. For him, it is simply a generic store.
