Anwar: Mahathir will be first one to get a fever when I'm PM

PKR chief Anwar Ibrahim has denied claims about him forming ties with Umno, saying it was a "false narrative peddled by certain people in BN and Perikatan Nasional".
Anwar demanded that they show proof of such negotiations having taken place.
He was responding to Pejuang president Dr Mahathir Mohamad who said he wouldn’t support Pakatan Harapan, claiming Anwar was forming ties with Umno.
“Mahathir said today, ‘It is not that I don’t want to support Harapan, but they are cooperating with Zahid’. This man is asking for it!” Anwar was quoted as saying at a ceramah in Seberang Jaya on Sunday night.
Anwar then reiterated that he would never support corrupt people, even if it means he loses the chance to become prime minister.
