A 6-year-old boy was reunited with his mother in Miami, more than two months after he was initially kidnapped and went missing.
Jorge ‘Jojo’ Morales was abducted by his father and paternal grandmother in August, leading to an international search involving the FBI, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, and other law enforcement.
Authorities eventually discovered the three in Canada after Maine State Police received a tip about a trio that matched their description near the Canada-Maine border. Jojo’s father and grandmother are now facing felony charges.
