Prime minister Rishi Sunak promises to create a "legacy to be proud of" at next week's COP 27 summit. Speaking at a reception hosted by the King at Buckingham Palace, Sunak quotes the wishes of the late Queen Elizabeth II that "the legacy of this summit...will describe you the leaders who did not pass up the opportunity" to "answer the call of future generations" to tackle climate change. After U-turning on his decision not to attend the COP-27 summit, the prime minister is due to attend the event in Egypt next week.
