BBC bosses rule presenter Maxine Croxall DID break impartiality rules when she said she was 'gleeful' after Boris Johnson pulled out of Tory leadership race - but they are still letting her back on air tomorrow

The BBC has found that an episode of The Papers on October 23 presented by Martine Croxall failed to meet its editorial standards on impartiality, but she will resume on live programming tomorrow. During her introduction to the programme, in which members of the press and experts look at how the main stories of the day were covered, Croxall said: 'Well this is all very exciting, isn't it?' adding: 'Am I allowed to be this gleeful? Well I am.' The programme started at 10.30pm on Sunday, around 90 minutes after Boris Johnson pulled out of the Tory leadership race.
