The Boeing 737 MAX is a new family of civilian passenger aircraft (airliner) being developed by Boeing to replace the Boeing 737 Next Generation family.
The main change is the use of a larger and more efficient engine namely the International CFM LEAP-1B engine. The fuselage also received some modifications. The first 737 MAX deliveries are scheduled for 2017, 50 years after the B737 first flew.
