Cristiano Ronaldo snubbed his former team-mate Gary Neville ahead of Manchester United's Premier League clash with West Ham on Sunday afternoon.

Ronaldo decided to snub Neville after the Sky Sports pundit criticised him for storming down the tunnel during United's win over Tottenham.

Neville said United would be 'better without' Ronaldo and that the Premier League giants should 'end their relationship' with him.

Ronaldo was not happy with Neville's comments and made his feelings known ahead of United's clash on Sunday.

The 37-year-old went over to see his former team-mate Louis Saha - who was working on the panel for Sky Sports.

Ronaldo embraced Saha before saying a quick hello to Jamie Redknapp. However, he bypassed Neville without saying a word.

After being blanked by the Portugal international, Neville said: 'We're off the Christmas card list aren't we?' .

Ronaldo's decision to snub Neville came after the Sky Sports pundit criticised him and described his behaviour as 'unacceptable'.

Speaking ahead of United's clash with Chelsea last week, Neville said: 'It has been a big week for Erik ten Hag, all the scrutiny on him and his relationship with Ronaldo.

'But I have to say I don't think he was left with any other option. That's the second time that Cristiano Ronaldo has left Old Trafford in his car before his team-mates have got into the changing room, and I have to say, that - from a point of view from a football dressing room - is something that is unacceptable.

'When you look at whether Cristiano Ronaldo should be selected, which is obviously his main problem at this moment in time, that he's not playing as great a player as he's been, Man United are better without him and Erik ten Hag knows that.

'So I think the only thing that the club and Cristiano can do is get together in this next week or so and end the relationship. I think Cristiano's too good a player and too big a character, and the club have to move on.'

James Carragher took to Twitter after Ronaldo snubbed Neville. He said: 'Welcome to the, blanked by Ronaldo club Gary Neville'.

Ronaldo avoided the Sky Sports pundit after he said United would be better off without Ronaldo in August.
