  • 2 anni fa
Lone self titled album by French Canadian psych rock band Claire LePage et Compagnie. In late sixties before forming the band Claire LePage wast best known as a Québec "ye ye girl", recording mostly French language of British Invasion and Motown covers. At the dawn of the 1960s Claire tried to grow up and propose much serious music, so she hooked up with the heavy rock band Compagnie and recorded "Claire LePage et Compagnie". Heavy funk rock, mixed with coparatively lame, soft rock covers, with squealing lead guitar, groovy cowbells, tambourines, some trippy delay, and nice harmony vocals lead by Claire's strong voice. Most of the songs are sung in French a few in English
