  • last year
Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has been confronted by a patient over nurses' pay, during a visit to a hospital in south London. Whilst speaking to the PM, 77-year-old Catherine Poole said: "It's a pity you don't pay them [nurses] more", to which Mr Sunak replied "we are trying". Ms Poole went on to challenge the prime minister's response, saying: "No, you're not trying, you need to try harder." Report by Patelr.
