Oil giant Shell recorded profits of £8.1 billion ($9.5 billion) in the third quarter as Britons face rising energy bills and the possibility of blackouts this winter. The Anglo-Dutch energy giant reported profits more than doubled between July and September, helped by high oil and gas prices.PA
