During his visit to the Navy base in Lumut on Wednesday, Defence Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein told reporters that the Opposition's attempt to make the Littoral Combat Ships a political issue has failed.

Hishammuddin added that the Opposition thought they could do it like what happened to the 1MDB scandal.
