The AP Top 25 released its Week 9 rankings and while there was no movement with the top 6. Brian Kelly got his team back in the poll for the first time since Week 6 after a 45-20 win over Ole Miss. The Tigers broke the Rebels undefeated streak by handing the team their first loss of the season which in turn dropped Ole Miss to 15. Another team that didn’t have much luck was Mississippi State who suffered a brutal 6-30 loss to Alabama and dropped out of the rankings completely.
