Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton sued Google ($GOOGL@US) Thursday for allegedly collecting millions of biometric identifiers, such as voiceprints and face geometry, without user consent. The suit alleges that Google has collected millions of biometric identifiers from Texans, violating a state law that bans using personal information for commercial interests. A Google spokesperson denied that the tech giant misused its products to collect users’ biometrics.
