Union Minister of Commerce and Industry, Piyush Goyal addressed CII National Exports Summit on October 20 in New Delhi. He claimed that India’s free trade agreements with UK, Canada and European Union are well on track.
On being asked about a free trade agreement with the United Kingdom in wake of the change in leadership in the nation he said, “We'll have to wait and see, whether they have a quick change of leadership. Let's see who comes into the government and what their views are. It's only after that we'll be able to formulate a strategy vis-a-vis the UK.”
