A new technology that detects rowdy drivers in coming to Birmingham. These 'noise cameras' are designed to identify antisocial drivers and reduce noise pollution. The government says the estimated social cost of road noise pollution is £10 billion.

A man has been arrested on suspicion of the murder of a three week old baby boy in Sparkhill. The boy was found not breathing and later confirmed as deceased. The 29 year old suspect was arrested at the scene. A 29 year old woman was also found with non-life threatening injuries.

The Black Sabbath bench at the bottom of Broad Street is attracting attention from heavy metal heroes across the world. The popular tribute to the Brummie heroes has seen a plethora of iconic acts visit to take photographs alongside it, such as Canada's Anvil, Poland's Vader and Merciful Fate from Denmark.
