A mum travelled over 700 miles (1,100 kilometers) to surprise her daughter and help pick out the dream wedding dress. Devan Williamson, 26, was shopping for dresses at Lia Bella Bridal Salon in Fort Myers, Florida, USA, when her mum Diana Williamson, 45, showed up unexpectedly. Video of the surprise shows Devan walking out of the changing room in a potential gown and shouting 'Mommy!', when she spotted her mother. She then walksto her mom with her arms outstretched and the pair share an emotional hug. Devan, an account manager from Cape Coral, got engaged in July and began the exciting process of planning her wedding day scheduled for September 2023. She thought that her mother was unable to join her to pick out her wedding dress, but little did she know that Diana had planned to surprise her. Diana, a respiratory therapist and teacher, flew over 700 miles from her home in Rutherfordton, North Carolina, to Fort Myers, Florida, so she could be with her daughter and help her pick her wedding dress. Devan said that being surprised by her mother was the best, especially for such a special moment.
