Microsoft Lays off 1% of Employees After Slow Growth

Microsoft ($MSFT@US) will lay off workers, forecasting slow growth after it saw lower sales in Windows licenses and PCs. Tech giants such as Netflix ($NFLX@US) and Coinbase ($COIN@US) have also resorted to layoffs in the wake of slow growth, while Meta ($META@US) and Salesforce ($CRM@US) have enacted hiring freezes. The move comes three months after its last round of layoffs.
