India is the world's biggest producer of betel nuts, with an output of 1.2 million tons in 2020 and 2021. In the coastal town of Mangaluru, a farmer named Ganapathi Bhathas has come up with an innovative way to harvest betel nuts that grow at the very top of towering 20-meter-tall trees.
