Taiwan’s borders will not reopen to tourists until the end of September or the start of October at the earliest. That’s the latest estimate by the country’s pandemic task force. They expect a current wave of COVID-19 infections to peak in the middle of September and say restrictions will only be eased after cases start to trend downward.
