The Barisan Nasional supreme council meeting held at Menara Dato Onn in Kuala Lumpur ended at about 11pm on Tuesday night. Several Barisan leaders told reporters after the two-hour meeting that all the component parties assured the coalition’s leadership that they are prepared to face the 15th General Election.

They added that they would finalise their lists of candidates for both the parliamentary and state seats in the polls soon.
