Calling technology an agent of inclusion, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on October 11 at the UN World Geospatial International Congress in Delhi, credited technology and talent as the key pillars for India’s development. The PM also lauded the PM-SVAMITVA Scheme.

“In India's development journey, two pillars - technology and talent - are very important. Technology brings transformation. In India, technology is not an agent of exclusion, it's an agent of inclusion,” the PM said.

“PM-SVAMITVA Scheme is an example of how digitisation benefits people. We are using drones to map properties in villages, and ensuring these villagers are getting their property cards,” he added.
