4Japan Prime Minister Fumio Kishida issued an emergency alert after North Korea launched a suspected ballistic missile on Saturday.
In response to the missile launch by North Korea, Japan PM Fumio Kishida issued a set of instructions as an alert was sounded. The instructions include:
1) Dedicate maximum effort to gather and analyze information, and provide the public speedy and adequate information.
2) Ensure the safety of aircraft, vessels, and other assets.
3) Take all possible measures for precaution, including readiness for contingencies.
South Koreas Yonhap News Agency also reported that North Korea launched a suspected ballistic missile toward East Sea on Saturday.
