Havelock Community Centre will host twice weekly Cold Hands; Warm Hearts events where it opens up as a warm space for people to stay for as long as they like throughout the winter. It's been put on specifically in response to concerns the rising cost of energy could make it unaffordable for people to heat their homes. Terry Hall (former councillor) is a trustee of the centre and has organised the events which also form part of the council's Warm Places scheme
