Over RM1bil allocated for senior citizens, Orang Asli

The agenda to empower senior citizens and Orang Asli will continue to be stepped up with more than RM1bil allocated for the group next year, says Finance Minister Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz.
He said the allocation is a significant increase compared with RM580mil in 2020 following an increase in the rate of assistance for senior citizens and widening the eligibility of recipients.
