What to know about Georgia's Senate race and abortion allegation against Herschel Walker

Herschel Walker, the Republican running to unseat incumbent Democratic Sen. Raphael Warnock in Georgia, this week vehemently denied a report that he paid for a woman's abortion in 2009, calling it a "flat-out lie" and threatening to sue The Daily Beast over it. Late Wednesday night, he also denied a subsequent Daily Beast report that the woman says she later had a child he'd fathered. CBS News has not confirmed the allegations or the reporting by The Daily Beast. Walker will be making his first public appearance since the allegations surfaced at a campaign event about three hours outside Atlanta on Thursday. In an interview with conservative radio host Hugh Hewitt on Thursday morning, Walker again denied the allegations, but he also said "no one has ever told me" that he paid for an abortion.
