NSW govt aiming to raise Warragamba dam wall to "future proof" Sydney

The NSW Premier says raising the wall of Sydney's Warragamba dam could save lives, property and "future proof" the city from major floods. But the project is controversial, with opponent's arguing that raising the wall will destory environmental and Indigenous cultural sites in the Blue Mountains. NSW Premier Dominic Perrottet says while the project will be complex, raising the dam wall will play a critical role in Sydney's future.
