Turkish singer Melek Mosso cut her hair mid-concert during a show in Istanbul on Sept 26, in solidarity with the thousands of women in Iran and internationally who have protested the death of Mahsa Amini in morality police custody.

‘If you want to grab us by the hair and drag us into your darkness, we’ll cut that hair too,’ Mosso said in a translated post on Instagram. ‘I am with the Iranian people and the women who are fighting for their freedom there until the end.’
