Masjid-e- Quba is the first mosque in the history of Islam. Holy Prophet (S.A) himself laid down the foundation of this mosque. This Masjid is situated three kilometers away from Mashiide-e-Nabvi. If a person offers two rakats of Nafl there, it will be equal to performing an Umrah. There are separate places of prayers in Masjid-e-Quba for Men and Women. Outside the mosque, there is date market. You can good quality dates from there.
Masjid-e-Jummah
Masjid-e-Jummah is near to Masjid-e-Nabwi. While the Holy Prophet (S.A) once moved from Quba to Madinah Munawarra, while reaching the location of Bano-Salam-Bin-Auf tribe on his way to Madinah, he offered a Jummah Prayer there. Later on, the Masjid was constructed at that place. The mosque is situated in the south of Masjid-e-Nabvi.
Masjid-e-Zarrar
The third place to visit is Masjid-e-Zarrar. It is the place where munafiqein used to counsel with each other against Islam. The Masjid was destroyed and burnt at the instruction of Holy Prophet (S.A). The ruins of this mosque are still preserved, so people get know how about this event. Masjid-e-Zarrar is also mentioned in Quran is a place of munafiqein.
Masjid-e-Ghamama
Masjid-e-Ghamama is the place where Holy Prophet (S.A) offered a prayer for the rain. The government has built a Masjid at that place. The mosque is at a walking distance from Masjid-e-Nabwi. The government of Saudi Arabia has constructed pink wall all around the mosque, and this pink wall is decorated with the electric lanterns hanged with date trees. This Masjid is also known as Majid-e-Eid as the Holy Prophet (S.A) and his companions used to offer eid prayer there. Many pilgrims used to visit this Masjid and do offer nawafil there.
Masjid-e-Abubakar
Ziarat Madina Sharief includes a visit to Masjid-e-Abubakar is located at that place where Caliph Abu Bakar (R.A) used to reside. This Masjid is forty yards away from Masjid-e-Ghamama. The mosque is not in its best of shapes, and the authorities are ignorant to remuneration for this mosque. This Masjid requires a great of repair and continence. It is located in southwest of Masjid-e-Nabwi.
Masjid-e-Ali
In Madina ziyarat, Masjide-Ali is another important place to watch. It is believed that fourth Caliph of Muslim, Hazrat Ali (R.A) used to live at the same place. The mosque is situated in west of Masjid-e-Nabwi.
Masjid-e-Umar
Masjid-e-Umar is situated near to Masjid-e-Ghamama, behind the telephone exchange. It has been painted with white color.
Masjid Bilal MadinahMasjid-e-Bilal
Masjid-e-Bilal is located near to dates market, and this market is adjacent to Masjid-e-Nabvi. One must try to visit the Masjid and offer nafls there.
Uhad Mountain
