Clare O'Neil slams former govt for 'absolutely useless' laws

The Minister for Cyber Security, Clare O’Neil has slammed the former Coalition government for creating cybersecurity laws that are - as she puts it - 'absolutely useless' in dealing with the Optus data breach. Ms O’Neil spoke about the need to revamp data laws when she criticised Optus for the hack during Question Time this week. Speaking today, she says she is not making specific orders for what needs to change - but something has to be done.
