The importance of Durga Puja has been told in Hinduism. This puja begins from the sixth day of Shardiya Navratri and is celebrated with great pomp across the country including Bengal. This year Durga Puja will start from 1st October and this festival will be celebrated till 5th October.

हिंदू धर्म में दुर्गा पूजा का विशेष महत्व बताया गया है। शारदीय नवरात्रि के छठे दिन से इस पूजा का आरंभ होता है और इसे बंगाल समेत पूरे देश में बड़ी ही धूमधाम से मनाया जाता है। इस साल दुर्गा पूजा का आरंभ 1 अक्टूबर से होगा और यह पर्व 5 अक्टूबर तक मनाया जाएगा।
