Adipurush is said to be the adaptation of the Indian epic that revolves around the triumph of good over evil. According to Hindu mythology, Lord Ram is also addressed as Adi Purusha. Prabhas will be seen playing the role of Lord Rama and Saif will play the role of Lankesh, the demon King Ravan, in the film. As far as the female lead Is concerned, there are speculations that Kriti Sanon has been finalised.

Last year, Prabhas announced that he will be teaming up with Bollywood director Om Raut for 3D film titled Adipurush. Since then, there have been lot of expectations revolving around the project. Though the first-look poster was unveiled in August 2020, the film went floors today (February 2) in the presence of the cast and crew. Prabhas announced the same on his Instagram page sharing the title logo of Adipurush.
The picture also states the word ‘Aarambh’ which means the beginning of their shoot. Bankrolled by Bhushan Kumar, CMD of T-Series, Adipurush will feature actor Saif Ali Khan as the antagonist.
The film will be made on a whopping budget of Rs 400 crore. A huge amount of the money will be spent on VFX, which will be an important part of the film. Adipurush will reportedly be shot entirely using the green mat technology seen in several Hollywood films. The makers have roped in VFX supervisors of Avatar and Star Wars to work on the graphics of the film.
