Cardiovascular diseases are one of the deadly and major types of non-communicable diseases across the world. Studies have pointed out that India has one of the highest burdens of cardiovascular diseases worldwide. On the occasion of World Heart Day, leading Cardiologist and Director, Interventional Cardiology, Medanta Hospital, Dr. Rajneesh Kapoor talked to Financial Express.com to discuss India's status of cardiac health, things that should be avoided, and preventive measures that should be taken to keep the heart healthy.
