Following a COVID-19 delay, the fourth chapter of John Wick will be released in March 2023. Despite the fact that the fifth instalment of the series is already confirmed and was initially intended to be shot concurrently with the fourth, Stahelski cited the need for a break in between the two endeavours, which will give him plenty of time to think of ways to make John Wick 5 even more thrilling for viewers. Under the interim, a prequel series that will run on Peacock the following year is in production, along with a spinoff starring Ana de Armas. Action movie aficionados will appreciate the growing John Wick universe, especially given Stahelski's increased artistic licence.
