Baling MP Abdul Azeez Abdul Rahim was granted a discharge not amounting to an acquittal (DNAA) by the Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court today over allegations of corruption and money laundering.

According to Bernama, deputy public prosecutor Raya Aslinda Ahad applied for discharge during case management today.

Sessions Court judge Azura Alwi said she was satisfied with the reasons provided by the prosecution in granting the discharge.

A DNAA meant that Abdul Azeez can face the same charges again in the future.
