Labour: Govt's NHS plan is a 'betrayal of patients'
Labour's Wes Streeting has criticised the government's NHS plan - which sets out a maximum two-week waiting target for GP appointments - as "lower standards" and "a betrayal of patients".

The shadow health secretary called for a workforce plan to recruit more doctors and nurses but concluded "asking the Conservative Party to solve the NHS crisis is a bit like asking the arsonist to put out the fire they created, it's just not going to happen."
