More than 100 Major U.S. companies pledged to hire more than 20,000 Afghan and Ukrainian refugees over the next three years. Their commitment was announced at an event for the Tent Partnership for Refugees in New York on Monday. Amazon ($AMZN@US) made the largest pledge, committing to hire 5,000 refugees. Hilton ($HLT@US) and Marriott ($MAR@US) each pledged to hire 1,500 refugees, and Pfizer ($PFE@US) said it would hire 500 refugees.
