Charity raising awareness of dementia in Manchester for Wold Alzheimer’s Day

World Alzheimer’s Day takes place in September each year to raise awareness of the disease.
This year on Wednesday September 21, charities have been taking part in an international campaign to increase awareness of the condition and the other leading causes of dementia.
Sue Clarke, the area manager for Greater Manchester at Alzheimer’s Society said: “Dementia is an umbrella term for a hundred plus different types of dementia - Alzheimer’s type being the most common.
